The Calm Your Inner Critic Process

The first step to calm your inner critic is identifying what riles he/she/it up. Each inner critic is different and shows up at varying intensities in each part of your life. Some inner critics are more prominent at work, some in social situations, some more with family. Some are on high alert all the time and some are a constant steady presence you may not even know is there. The Calm Your Inner Critic Process is a powerful way to see how and where your inner critic shows up.

You’ll start with a quick 20-minute online assessment. Then I’ll get a copy of your results and study them to prepare for our deep-dive conversation. Then we’ll meet over the phone for 60-75 minutes to discuss together. I’ll share what I find and ask you lots of questions. At the end of the call, you’ll have a much better understanding of what your inner critic cares about and I’ll make recommendations for any further coaching if I think we’d be a good fit.

The deep dive conversation is like a comprehensive look at all the things that are troubling you AND simultaneously where you could go if they weren’t troubling you. The flow is like…here’s what I see about you…how true is that? Imagine if…

When I was learning this process, I volunteered to go through the debrief in front of my class. It was amazing. I felt like our teacher was looking into my soul. Within 5 minutes I was on the verge of tears. It was like my story just started flowing out. We touched on every single thing that’s been bothering me over the last five years. I came away with so many things to think about and kept thinking about things she said for days after.

You get:

  • A 20 minute online assessment
  • A 60-75 minute deep dive conversation with me
  • A recording of our call
  • Recommendations for any further coaching

I can’t wait to dive into this with you.

I’ve never been able to hide my true feelings from Joanna, and I’d never want to, because she always has insight and intuition that I wouldn’t be able to grasp on my own. Hiring Joanna will be one of the best decisions, and one of the most invaluable decisions, you’ll ever make!

~Rachel East, Clarity on Fire

Working with Joanna taught me that sometimes, being selfish is necessary. That sometimes you have to do things for yourself, not for others. She gave me the courage to make some really tough decisions- decisions that ultimately made me very happy- but that I might not have made without her pushing me to go after what I wanted. She gave me the ability to let myself be happy, and the confidence to let my true self shine.
