006: The joy of getting help

why its important to get help

In this episode I advocate for getting help.

I’ve been getting a lot of help in my life lately and loving every minute. In this episode I share examples of places I’ve been getting help lately and the impact it’s had on me.

I also offer ways I can help you and a way you can help me.

005: Keep things for yourself

6 things to keep to yourself

In this era of sharing everything with everyone, it’s important to remember to keep things for yourself.  In this episode, I describe six things that I have been over giving to other people, and how I’m practicing now keeping them for myself.

What are some things you do a good job of keeping for yourself?  What do you wish you kept more of to yourself?  I’d love to hear from you on Instagram or by email at joanna@joanna-platt.com.

One thing I would encourage you to share is this podcast 🙂  After taking time to keep this episode for yourself and think about what this topic means for you, share it with a friend or family member who you think it would resonate with.

004: Where passion and career meet with Rachel East

how to combine your passion with your career

I’m SO excited about this episode, my first interview episode on Love Always, Jo.

Today’s guest is Rachel East, one of my very dear friends and fellow coaches. I met Rachel and her best friend and business partner Kristen in coach training in 2012 and have had a front row seat as they’ve grown their business, Clarity on Fire.

In this episode of Love Always, Jo, Rachel and I talk about where passion and careers meet (or don’t). The pain we can feel when we’re searching to connect the two (I refer to my experience as a spiritual heart attack). Rachel outlines the four passion profiles that describe how different types of people prefer to align their passion and their careers. At the very end we talk about which passion profile mine is.

This episode is perfect for anyone who is struggling to figure out what they want to do with their life, feel fulfilled with their work, or find their passion.

002: Rest is a verb

why rest is important and how to rest more

In this episode I talk about something that’s been on my mind a lot lately: rest. It’s winter and I’m feeling really called to slow way down. I give a case for why rest is important and ways to incorporate rest into your every day, month, and year.
